Wigells is one of Sweden’s oldest furniture manufacturers, with extensive experience within the wood industry. The factory in Malmbäck has been working with wood to produce sustainable furniture for more than 150 years.

Today, six generations and another owner later, automation of the work and processes has gained momentum while the great respect for the legacy of craftsmanship and material knowledge contained within the walls lives on. A cornerstone of the business is to pass on knowledge from an older generation to the younger generation and thus safeguard the craftsmanship.

Being able to draw on Wigells’ immense knowledge has enabled VERK to solve multiple production challenges. A contagious pioneering spirit combined with its craftsmanship makes Wigells one of VERK’s most important suppliers. Chairs, benches and shelves are produced here, and more products are in the development phase.
